Community Outreach wins Ignite Competition
Congratulations to Community Outreach for winning UConn’s first Ignite fundraising competition! CO got the highest number of student and young alumni donors (357) during this last semester. With the victory comes an amazing check for $10,000 to support the Alternative Breaks Program. The funds will be used to lower student program fees and make these trips more affordable and accessible to student members of the UConn campus community.
We would like to acknowledge some of the members of the CO Ignite team that are past Learning Community members!:
Michael Chiluisa, Junior, CSLC – Providence Alternative Break Trip Director
Meghan Gagnon, Junior, CSLC – Manchester Area Conference of Churches (MACC) Program Director
Aileen Tobin, Sophomore, BCLC – Newsletter Director
Jimmy Duong, Junior, CSLC – Big Brothers Big Sisters Site Manager
And also the rest of the students on the CO Ignite team:
